We're doing the WAY-FM pledge drive this week. It keeps the lights on and allows us to hang out together ever morning. (Click here if you'd like to help out.)

We didn't want to leave all the Poddies out to dry, so we're going to record an abbreviated podcast every day and shoot it on video to stay plugged in.

Check out this week's previous video podcasts

Is there a way to listen to a segment of Wally's show from today between about 8:30-9:00. My husband called in a pledge from us and gave testimony of how wayfm ministered to him on July 4 and it was HUGE part of God softening his heart and restoring our marriage. I would just love to hear Wally share about it. I had listened until moments before it aired bc I had to go in to my Bible study, so I missed it.

Please do not use my name, but I was listening yesterdat afternoon I did not catch everything but it seems everyone wants toi attack school lunch

I have been is school food service for 25 plus years and as a manager I have never taken food from a child or forced a child to take any food nor have I never told a child they must eat or drink anything from my cafeteria

Usually it is an administration personal who do this and yet we get the blame.
Also trust me when I say a child is not obese over what they get in the school cafeterias habits start at home, and if you pick them up from school and take them to McDonalds everything we try to do is in vain.
I am limited to what I can serve how much I can serve I am allowed to give your child one quarter of a teaspoon of salt a day. Our menus have to be approved by the state and the govern what we do this year more than ever.
Yet we have limited money and are suppose to feed your child.
Do I agree with the state NO I do not but I do not have the power to change the new guidelines only you as parents can do that. We offer the foods but we cannot make your child take what is offer nor can we make your child eat what is offered. We are trying to do our job as you are trying to do yours.
