good job wally & crew Posted by Jessie Owen on October 13, 2011 @ 07:13 AM

I wanted to let you guys know how much I enjoy the show!! I am a mother of 4 children (ages 5 thru 11) and it's nice to have a morning show that is family oriented as well as having a positive christian message. Your show has something for all of us in the morning. I love hearing my 5 yr old walking around the house singing christian songs!! My oldest (11 1/2) recently this summer got saved and is really trying to live her life for Christ. I have heard her take a stand at school and with her friends for God and it's such an amazing joy to hear your child walking in Christ. Your show and this station has allowed her to continue to grow. Music is such an influence on our youth (and adults) so to have a radio station that plays good (or I guess you could say...hip) christian music and discussions about Christ is so wonderful!! I understand (as well as enjoy) that others listen to other shows that have more of the talks on religion and God to get a spiritual lift but God doesn't expect us to be serious at all moments. Humor is a good thing!! The first thing people think when they see someone laughing is how happy they are. God speaks to us all in different ways and at different times. Again I would like to thank you for providing a radio show that my entire family can listen to and enjoy!! God bless you all!! Keep up the good work :)

I was listening to your show this morning while taking my husband to work and Im not happy to say i was very upset with what i heard. You were talking about meeting your true love in the mission field/mission trip.....i was very unhappy to what i understood was a story about a man breaking it off with his boyfriend and finding his true love boyfriend on his mission trip. Maybe im way crazy and heard completely wrong but if so it because you weren't clear on the matter.....luckily my 9 and 5 year old weren't with me, im very upset that as Christians we have to filter which Christian radio stations we listen to for the purity of our children's minds and that of our own! I just felt as if your radio station as a CHRIST centered station would appreciative knowing when you've offended someone. ThankYou for listening! Btw Were supposed to hate the sin but love the sinner' so please don't confuse my reasons for this.....my reasons are that we do not want to allow others to believe we or CHRIST condones these actions....we need to teach that GOD will and can turn you away from this sin and any other sin!

Hello there, I read your post about the comments on the show and someone meeting their true love on a mission trip...I understand also that your young children were in the car...Your kids, I think you said, were 9 and 5...I hate to brake it to you, but if your nine year old knows how to log onto internet, EVEN WITH ALL YOUR PROGRAMS that are supposed to prevent this..your nine and possibly five year old have probably seen and been exposed to things on line, that would give you a cardiac event...so remember when we come into a conversation half way through you must shut down your judgement..and reserve for when you MEET and get to see the person's heart...I am just warning you mom's and dad's out there that it seems parents are attempting to enlarge the bubble they want to keep the kids in, yet they fail at every turn...have you seen the sex commercial about the salad? how about the cough drop commercial that shows a full on shot of a woman's ...... And, last but certainly not least...this generation is the FIRST generation to be influenced MORE a thousand percent more from what they get on the outside of the family unit...they are bombarded constantly with messages of sex, body image, sex and more sex, and if you haven't had enough yet, there are more reality shows giving teen moms a chance at fame and fortune..and many of these girls are getting pregnant at 16 to get on tv.....So, I say calm down about the radio program and spend some MORE time with your children, educating them age appropriately...the problem is parents..what YOU thought was age appropriate has changed...so, we'll be praying for you...to educate your self...DO YOU WANT TO RAISE A CHILD WHO IS PREPARED TO DO BATTLE IN THIS WORLD OR DO YOU WANT TO RAISE ONE WHO IS HELPLESS AND CONTROLLED BY FEAR???? UP TO YOU...June

Youth Mission Trip 2 Dream Center LA Posted by Amanda Gonzalez on June 20, 2012 @ 07:39 PM

Hey guys! I love the show and Wally always makes me laugh. I'd like to tell you about the mission trip to LA in August. My church, Life Christian Church Naples, is suppose to be going if we can raise enough money. If you would like to donate to the church please email me @ agmusiclife9@yahoo.com We are going for 10 days, the 4th-14th. The need for donations is extreme. We are having a "Yard Sale" at 2005 Shady Rest Lane Naples, FL 34102. If you are in the area and can donate old clothes/toys that are in good condition for us to sell that would be great too, or Baked Goods! Thanks for reading! :) -Amanda

Love your show Posted by Shaun Barger on December 27, 2012 @ 02:02 PM

Wally and the team,
My wife and I love your show, we download every podcast and listen all the time. I wholeheartedly agree with your opinion of PETRA, they are the greatest. In South Africa were have been starved of real christian talent like yours, but hopefully you can inspire some youngsters here to use their talents and abilities for God. My wife Karen and I have been in children's ministry (in the same church) for almost 30 years now, and often use things we hear on your show to share with the tweens we minister to.

God bless your whole team.

Ps. we are having withdrawl symtoms over this Christmas period.

27 million slaves Posted by Anna G on January 15, 2013 @ 10:14 PM

27 Million

Hi, my name is Anna Grider, I am 17 years old and a senior in high school. I recently attended the passion conference in Atlanta Georgia. (http://www.268generation.com/3.0/) At passion we had the opportunity to worship under known artists such as Chris Tomlin, Kristian Stanfill, and David Crowder ect. We had the pleasure of listening to esteemed speakers such as Louie Giglio, Francis Chan, John Piper and many more. While I was ushered into a worship experience I had never experienced before, and my mind was blown by the authenticity of the speakers, one thing I took away was the content of the End It Movement. (http://enditmovement.com/)
Did you know there are over 27 million slaves in the world today! Yes, slavery still exists. The sad thing is, is that hardly anyone knows about it. Slavery is hidden in the shadows. It’s ignored, forgotten about, denied, and unknown. People have no idea that there are more slaves in the world today than when it was illegalized 150 years ago. At passion they had several speakers talk to us about the stomach churning statistics on slavery in the world today. Slaves are bought and sold at an average price of ninety dollars per person. That’s cheaper than a pair of shoes, which to me is heartbreaking. There are slaves in over 161 countries in the world; including our own, 80 percent of those are women. Most people think that slavery in the United States ended with the Civil War. But right now, as you read this, there are roughly 200,000 slaves working in America. And 17,000 more will be trafficked in the next year. Anywhere between 600,000 - 800,000 people are trafficked across international borders every year. And somewhere in the neighborhood of half of them are children. Every minute of every day, 2 children--children who should be playing and learning and enjoying the most precious part of their lives--are sold into slavery. It doesn't cost you anything to get involved. You can fight for the release of those who cannot fight for themselves by taking up the cause and making people aware. You can give money, if you like, or energy or tirelessness. You can go fight through social media, through local or national government, or through the alarm bell of awareness. You can shine a light on slavery. You can END IT. I am one girl, who goes to a very tiny school, I don’t have much influence, I don’t have a wide audience to make aware. I listen to WAYFM almost everyday, I know you have a large number of listeners, a large number of supporters, and a large form of influence. Gary Haugen, president and CEO of International Justice Mission (http://www.ijm.org/0) spoke at passion and said how making people aware is the work. I was hoping you could talk about end it movement on one of your shows. I don’t want people to look at my generation and say, “where were you when there were 27 million people enslaved?” I want to be able to look back at my generation and say, that’s the generation that helped free the 27 million slaves. The slavery "industry" rakes in $32 billion dollars each year. $32 billion. That's an underground network whose annual revenue is greater than that of Google. It breaks my heart that this is what our world is coming to. Children are abused and sold for sex. Pregnant women are forced to work 22 hours a day in the hot sun carrying 70lbs of bricks on their head, men are beaten and forced to work with gushing wounds. All the while we are paying for their labor, yet they don’t see the profit. Now I know what you are thinking, giving money or raising awareness wont do anything. Well just last week, the money that was raised at passion was put towards funding a raid in India. IJM went to a brick factory to try and free 15 people from forced labor, long story short it ended with 150 men, women and children being officially released from slavery. (http://www.ijm.org/news/ijm-helps-rescue-36-families-slavery-india-including-3-year-old-girl) Now if that’s not something to praise God about I don’t know what is. Here is the mission statement of end it movement.
Slavery is Wrong. You know it. We know it. As a country, we've officially known it since 1863. But here's something you might not know -- Slavery still exists. We want every man, woman and child to know that there are 27 million men, women and children, just like them, living in the shadows. In brothels. In factories. In Quarries. Working as slaves. In 161 countries. Including our own. We are here to shine a light on slavery. No more bondage. No more sex trafficking. No more child laborers. No more, starting now.
I would love for you to take this into consideration. I am praying over this email. I want people to be aware, because now they will never have the excuse that they didn’t know. I always wondered why somebody didn’t do anything about this, then I realized I am somebody. Many people may ask, “where is God for these 27 million slaves?” well I ask, “where are God’s people?” I want the world to know what they are tolerating, and I want the world to know that I am not tolerating it anymore. You can help me take that first step. So what do you say? You are no longer unaware. Are you in it to end it?

If you would like to get in touch with me for any reason, you can email me back or call me at 256-361-6801, I would love to answer any questions you may have. I am more than willing to speak up on behalf of the voiceless.
